Pulau Undan Lighthouse

Restoration of the Undan Island Lighthouse, Malacca.

The lighthouse was erected in 1879 by the Imperial Lighthouse Service (governed under the British Empire) as a beacon for ships travelling along the Strait of Malacca. The Marine Department of Malaysia consequently took over the maintenance of the lighthouse when it was handed over from the British Empire.
